Kalapa Wisdom School for Changemakers
A path for changemakers committed to learning and growing
Kalapa is a school and a community for people who are committed to leaving the world a better place than they found it, and who are also committed to their own personal growth and development. We are growing the school and updating this page as we create more options. If you are a student of NVC, I invite you to begin with the Friday NVC Practice Group.
Who Kalapa is for
Kalapa is for people like you, committed to leaving the world better than you found it, by being part of the solution and making a positive difference. You are also committed to walking your own lifelong path of learning and growing, which can include healing, integration, transformation, and personal practice. Many of the people I work with also yearn for a life of greater intentionality, meaning, and purpose.
Choose your path
Kalapa NVC Practice Group
Calm power in the conversations that matter most.
Every Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific, we meet live on Zoom to deepen our understanding of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and to build the skills to use it in real situations. It works like a gym: you pay a flat fee, and you come whenever you can. You will find the membership options on the next page.
Transformational Role Play
A one-on-one session for the conversation or relationship that matters most to you right now.
I work with you one-on-one, in a transformational role play, on a situation you want to heal, transform, or approach with more clarity, compassion, and power. We can meet online on Zoom or in person at my home, Bodhi Creek, in Washington State. The first step is a no-cost, 45-minute discovery call, so we can both see whether or not it is a good fit.
The Kalapa Changemaker Community
A place to learn and practice alongside other changemakers.
The Kalapa Changemaker Community is where people on this path connect, share what they are learning, and support one another. We also gather once a month, on the last Monday, for the Changemaker & Conscious Creator Fun and Community Call, which is currently free.
More paths are coming
Kalapa has eight directions, and we are building and publishing them methodically and strategically. As each path is ready, it will appear here. You can see the full map of Kalapa at theKalapa.com.
